The Traitors

Previously on "The Traitors"...

Banishment, my dear friend, should be your fate tonight.

I am a faithful.

- I'm a faithful. - A faithful.

- I'm a faithful, you idiots. - Oh, my God.

After losing four faithfuls to banishment...

I am a traitor.

...a traitor was finally caught by the faithful.

The traitors are weakened, but beware,

a predator is most dangerous when wounded.

There is an alliance in that castle gunning for you and me.

Tonight, you must either murder a faithful

or try and seduce one to join you as a traitor.

Here's my idea.

We seduce Peter and watch him murder his friends.

Do what you want to do.

All you need to do is write their name

on this anonymous invitation, and I will deliver it to them.

That faithful then has a choice.

They can either accept or refuse your offer.

I want him on my team, and I want him working with me.

"Dear Peter, we wish to recruit you as a traitor."

Oh, my God.

Tonight, we'll have a new recruit,

and we'll have to have him swear an oath of allegiance.

I mean, it's better to turn the guy who's against you--

Peter refused your attempt at seduction.

Oh, my God.

Very disappointing.

Parvati.

I know. Well, I tried.

I'm a faithful till the end.

I want to be a part of winning this the right way.

There's no way in the world I could betray, like, my team.

Like, looking into Bergie's eyes,

looking into Trishelle's eyes, like, I have given them my word.

Like, I can't. There's no way I could do that.

What a dummy.

I guess he doesn't want to win that badly.

Things have gone from bad to a lot, lot worse for you

this evening. - Yes.

There will be no murder tonight,

and everyone will turn up at breakfast tomorrow.

It's not a good look for me.

This could be your last meal.

The game continues, traitors.

Oh, God. I'm sorry.

- That Bachelor is not seducible. - Mm.

Peter is a piece of work, and she knew that.

So I guess she's going to have to work out

the work that she has.

This is-- This is very bleak.

I'm shocked. I'm devastated.

But a test of a true traitor's character is what she does

when her back's against the wall.

- Yeah. - I will rise from the ashes.

- I know, like a phoenix. - I will find a way through.

I will march on.

Peter's definitely dangerous. He's clever.

He's a full-on bloodhound.

So I think I've got my work cut out for me.

With no recruitment or murder taking place,

the traitors are now on the back foot.

But as everyone makes their way to breakfast,

the faithfuls are none the wiser.

First ones in.

Now we get to watch everybody else.

Let's go at the end of the table so we can watch.

My nerves are absolutely everywhere right now

because last night,

Parvati's decision was the worst decision ever.

And just hope that it doesn't come back on me.

I don't think they'll murder Kate,

so I'm thinking it's going to be Peter, Trishelle, or John.

So you think they'll break up your crew?

- Yep. - But y'all are like a gang.

We are. We are. I'm not going to lie.

So last night's banishment, we finally got out a traitor.

- Which felt so good. - Oh, that felt so good.

We all thought Dan, in our group, was a traitor.

We all-- our number two was all Parvati.

After that, we have no idea.

- Yeah. - Like, we're back to square one.

We don't need to worry yet about that.

- Yeah. - Just one at a time.

One at a time. Yep.

Here we go.

C.T. I called it.

- Yeah. - Oh-ho-ho-ho.

Parvati.

- Oh, Sandra. - Ooh.

- Hi, everybody. - Good morning, beautiful.

I'm not sure what's going to happen at breakfast.

I don't know if Peter's going to say

that he was attempted to be recruited,

and that he chose to decline the invitation and stay faithful.

Either way, I'm thinking Peter's going to paint

a target on his back if he talks about the recruitment.

So I am ready for whatever comes out of Peter's mouth

and I'm ready for battle today.

How's everyone feeling?

- Good. How are you feeling? - Very good.

I'm not shocked to see Parvati.

I think Parvati is a lot of people's

number-one suspect right now

and is definitely up for banishment today.

Who do we think got murdered, by the way?

I have a bad feeling it's John.

At this point, I don't know.

- Oh, here we go. - Oh, okay.

Peter!

John.

- Hey, John. - Welcome.

What's up? What's up?

How are we doing?

- Hi, Pete. - I'm so happy to see you.

- Hi, John. - Hi.

- Oh, my God. - Whoo!

I believe that Parvati is a traitor

and she gave me that recruitment letter.

I've been extremely aggressive on her.

I'm not-- not letting up whatsoever.

- Peter, you are alive! - Oh, Pete!

Okay. Alright.

Alright.

So who we waiting on? - So it's Trishelle and Kevin.

Oh, my God.

- I think it's Trishelle. - I mean, it's a 50/50.

Uh-oh.

About to find out.

- Kevin! - Kevin!

- Hey, John. What? - Wow.

Everybody's here.

- Everyone's here? - We're all here.

- What happened? - No one was murdered.

Everyone came back.

That means one person was recruited.

Whenever there's a recruitment, there's not a murder.

- Yep, somebody got recruited. - Oh, no.

He doesn't say a word about the recruitment.

If Peter's going to try to hold on to this recruitment

that he turned down, then I can manipulate him.

- Ooh. - Wow.

- Wow. - Good morning.

- Morning. - Ooh.

- Good morning... - Morning.

...my little band of rogues and knaves.

- - You may be wondering

why we have a full complement of breakfast pastries

and a full complement of players at the table this morning.

- Mm. - Well, you may ask,

but I will not be answering. - Huh.

You can figure this out on your own.

Besides, we have a mission to get to.

First, though, I have a philosophical question for you.

If a reality star falls in the forest

and there is no one there to hear it,

do they make a sound?

Well, we might be about to find out.

So who got recruited?

This game is still afoot.

Even if there is a ton of suspicion on me,

now we can throw some suspicion on Peter.

I know that there is a way for the traitors

to reclaim our power.

All I have to do is survive. I just have to stay in the game.

We got a new traitor in the house.

Hey, let's not judge our faithfuls.

Maybe they said, "No, thank you."

Yeah, someone could've got a letter last night

and denied it and they're not saying it.
