- Look at what the fuck you've done to us.
What the fuck happened?
- I feel like I'ma throw up. - You sealed your fate.
- We have the Rodriguez's check in already, but that's it.
Any word, on the others?
- They're not coming. - What?
The guests that I have booked,
that's all you're gonna need.
Your ratings are going to be through the roof
with my surprise guests.
Michael and Shannon aren't-
And Shannon, come on, Justin,
they don't know what's right for my show.
Look, this is the "Dr. Draya Show", right?
Trust me.
Gina, she's gonna be enough.
Well, I can say love or hate,
the audience certainly watches her.
We anticipate mega ratings,
and if everything goes according to plan,
"Ask Dr. Draya" is going to set this network on fire.
Yes.
- That is the plan. - Uh-hmm.
- Now, I need to go finish getting ready
for my big night. - Yes, okay.
I am just gonna add a little powder, okay?
- Whoa. - I don't like all this shit
on my fucking face, please.
- God, you wanna say it properly?
You're stressing out for no reasoning.
- Fine. - Everything's gonna be okay.
You gonna fight?
Just ready for this fucking shit to be over with.
And me, too.
We're on the road to recovery for our marriage, bumpy,
and after tonight,
the world's gonna see that it really is
me and you against this whole fucking world, Julio.
Our love is real.
We're gonna conquer this together.
Cheer up.
Come on and see it through?
Mmm.
What's up, Doc?
Hey, tonight's the big night, Draya.
I just called to check in on you.
How you doing? - I'm fine.
I am actually perfectly fine. - Okay, stop it.
You know we've been doing this long enough
for you to know that I'm not buying that.
- Well, I'm definitely headed in the right direction,
and I'm super excited about my new show.
- That I believe. - Yes, yes.
It's simple, Dr. Serena.
I have been putting in the work, you know this,
and it's finally paying off.
Come on, I'm about to reap the rewards.
That's so admirable,
and you're working on your book, right?
Absolutely, yeah.
You know, my books are my bread and butter.
That's how I got this gig,
but this new one, it is a cautionary tale
about what happens when you take the wrong risk,
a nice follow up to my last banger
and is sure to be a bestseller as well.
Look at me,
the difference a few months makes, right?
- Oh, my gosh, wow, Draya, you are not lying.
I mean, just a few months ago,
you were encouraging adultery
and secretly recording sex acts.
Now, you're redirecting, I like that.
Yes, and I'm using my platform
to give Gina even more publicity.
I'll tell you something. - Okay.
- It feels damn good. - Love feels good, Draya.
You should try it. - I can.
- Oh, Draya. - What's up?
I'm finishing my makeup.
- One more thing, how's your sobriety going?
It's funny you should ask.
Oh, God, because I am as sober as a nun.
I mean life should always be this way, right?
I love what I'm hearing.
The progress is wonderful, that's great.
- Listen, Doc, you just wait and see.
I know you will be thrilled, but I gotta run, all right?
Because they're calling me, so wish me luck, all right?
Okay, Draya, mmm, sending you good vibes.
All right, bye for now.
Gosh, she's so annoying.
Mr. And Mrs. Rodriguez,
it's your time.
Let's go.
Vamonos, hey.
Vamonos, vamono.
- We have time. - Let's go.
- Thank you, hi, I'm Dr. Draya Logan.
For years, I've tried to make the world a better place,
healing hearts one by one.
I've served as a relationship therapist,
a bestselling author many times over,
and, today, I am proud to say, a talk show host.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much,
and welcome to the "Ask Dr. Draya Show", all right,
where it's a free space for my guest to be
whoever they need to be, and we love them
along the way through growth
and healing in a therapeutic setting.
Now, I'm very excited to welcome my first guest.
Now, you may know him as a superstar franchise player
for the Washington Tigers
and his beautiful wife, yes,
and she has her own show called "Damn Gina," all right?
So, please, help me welcome Julio and Gina Rodriguez.
- Yo, Gina. - I love you, Julio.
- Love you. - You're awesome.
Yes, welcome, you two.
Thank you.
- Yes, I am so glad to have you here
for the first episode of my show.
- Thank you, Draya, we're so happy to be here.
- Good, good, good, now, although everyone
knows you as this superstar powerful couple,
we all know relationships are real, all right?
They get kind of testy.
You have ups and downs.
I like to say you have to get through it to get to it.
Yeah, yeah, so, please, tell us,
what do you two think about that?
You know, Draya,
that's true.
I love my wife Gina with my whole heart,
and we've had our moments, many of which I'm not proud of,
but what me and Gina have is real,
and it's gonna withstand the test of time.
I love you.
I wanna relax.
Is this gonna work?
- Bitch, worry about your fucking self.
I know what it is.
How the fuck they got us in this expensive ass hotel
and then fucking wait?
- 'Cause wouldn't nobody's suspecting nothing
of a joint like this. - What-the-fuck-ever.
You know, it's so important
to celebrate your accomplishments and love.
It really, really is.
Now, let's get to the juicy stuff.
We wanna know how did you two meet, hmm?
- Go ahead, you tell her, Leelee.
We met in Miami at a club.
I didn't know who he was and- - Yeah.
I didn't know who he was,
and he just so happened to bump my cocktail onto my dress.
She wanted to curse me out.
Then our eyes connected.
- And that's when, instantly, our souls became one.
I had to have her.
She was so sweet, innocent, naive, beautiful.
I couldn't live without her. - Oh.
- We had the best sex of our lives that night.
- You get the truth here on the "Ask Dr. Draya Show".
That's so sweet.
It really is, but we wanna know
are you still having the best sex of your life, hmm?
How has your marriage been?
- Well, it's actually been a big rollercoaster.
We have lots of ups.
And we have lots of downs.
You're a piece of shit, you know that?
You're hurting me.
- Lately, we've been really focusing on having more ups
and doing what we need to do
to make our marriage really work,
whatever it takes to strengthen our marriage overall.
- You know, that's a really important statement
that you made.
Now, what do you find are the most important tools
that you use to strengthen your marriage?
Trust.
I would say trust.
Learning to trust again after,
I don't know, countless storms
has proven to be very difficult.
Trust, definitely.
We've been starting to be more honest
with each other lately,
and it's been helping us tremendously
in bringing new purity into our marriage
and restoring our marriage overall day by day.
Wow.
That's a amazing accomplishment, it really is.
Congratulations.
- You, too. - Gracias.
Thank you, thank you.
