The first 200 lines.
On this episode...
Yeah, brother!
Of Wicked Tuna...
Holy!
Turn, turn it, Sandro! Go, go, Sandro!
While some boats continue to play well with others...
The best part is the whole fleet trying to figure out where we're fishing and
they got no clue.
One might have to quit the game...
Oh my God, that ain't good.
And some...
What the (bleep) is going on on the Wicked Pissah?
Are not playing at all.
They think we're dead.
And someone new.
Giant, giant fish right here.
Will take the lead.
There he is.
This...
Keep coming reverse, keep coming reverse!
Go hard, hard, hit it hard!
Hit him, hit him now! Yeah, baby!
Is Wicked Tuna.
You know, TJ is a spoiled baby.
Last week's successful alliance between Pinwheel and Fish Hawk mean
the pair start week six of fishing as the fleet's two top earners.
Meanwhile, the partnership between defending champion Dot Com and
family operation Hard Merchandise
paid dividends only for Dot Com, whose top-grossing fish now puts
them just narrowly behind the pack.
MARCIANO (over radio): Get a morning report.
Yeah, Dot Com, you on there, Dave?
What's that?
Come in, come in.
MARCIANO (over radio): Yeah, good morning, Dave. Good morning.
It's not looking as good this morning.
There was a lot of bait and (bleep) here, but not seeing the bait today, but...
Last week Dave on the Dot Com suggested that our two boats form an alliance
and share information.
Yeah, yeah, let's, let's team up and work together,
see if, uh, see if things work out.
Dot Com wound up landing the highest-grossing tuna of the week and we wound
up not catching nothing, but that's just fishing.
And in the long run, I'm gonna do everything
I can to make this partnership successful.
Just keep me posted.
I'll do the same.
I'll let you know if we see, start seeing 'em.
The first month of fishing was pretty tough on us, but last week we got
a great paycheck and we finally started to close the gap between us and
the top four boats.
Sandro, Geordie, and I are finally hitting our stride once again and
I'm confident we'll do even better this week.
MARCIANO (over radio): We're optimistic, but then again we're tuna fishing,
so that could change.
Dave's trying out an alliance with Marciano, but last week fishing with them
nearby proved to be more challenging than helpful.
-Hard Merch is on. He's hooked up.
Yeah.
We've been Gloucester's top producing boat more than any other boat
in the fleet.
We don't need anyone else's help to catch fish.
MARCIANO (over radio): We'll be standing by here.
We're gonna work on getting some live baits on the hooks.
DAVE (over radio): I have too many in the well,
so I'd very much be willing to sell you a few.
It's very generous of Dave to offer to sell us some of his live bait,
but considering we're supposed to be an alliance,
you'd figure he'd be willing to just
give it to us without getting money involved.
DAVE (over radio): All right, all right, see what happens.
MARCIANO (over radio): All right, very good, Dave, standing by.
Thanks for the report. Good luck today.
We don't need luck. We got skill.
(inaudible) aboard!
Your voice is like lightning.
Like you, you, we hear it here.
And then we hear you over there, like, a three-second delay.
Last trip out, Tyler did us a favor and put us on the meat big time,
so we're keeping this team up going and fishing away from the rest of the fleet.
We shut off the radio and then we still hear what we already heard.
It's like we go back in time, right?
Time travel.
Yes. Isn't that crunchy? Wow.
Call it an alliance, call it a marriage of convenience,
it's really just like a party on the water
and it's working out for the both of us.
Wow, that's good.
Do you hear it?
Yeah, that was good, man.
You should hear that.
There's a tuna. Nice. Marked one at 150, right here.
We called Brad into this spot because I want to see him have a successful season.
I want to see him catch fish.
You've got to have a good network and I'm glad Brad's part of mine.
There's a tuna down there.
We really need this mark to turn into a bite.
After the season we had last year, we got to build the bank account back up.
Fish on!
It's up on the bow rod baby, whoo!
Big tuna are on the line.
Contact, contact.
Fish Hawk's on bro, big bend.
Whoo, they are stretched out.
I hope you guys get this one, Fish Hawk.
-He's pulling the boat perfect.
He ain't giving me nothing.
We're gonna have to earn this fish here, boss.
Right now it's in the bow.
We'll see if we can fight him in the bow.
He's towing the boat nice right now, real nice.
He's just towing us along, it's flat calm.
We're just hoping to see if we can slow him down a little.
Come to papa.
The rod's like, hey, I'm stoked for him.
-Hey, we're both gonna hold it. You're fine.
Hold my shoulders.
-Okay. Okay. I got it. I got it.
I got you.
Whoo!
I'm gonna go to the right.
All right, there he is.
There's the sickle fin.
There he is.
Holy (bleep).
That's a big one, Brad.
That's all his wake up there?
I can see him right there?
Yeah, look at him.
We gotta get him up.
We want this fish, bad.
He's a nice fish.
He's running back out again, that sucker.
He's not ready yet.
He's going further quick.
You wanna go hard right, Brad.
Keep going. Keep going. I got the leader.
Hard right, Brad.
Go hard right!
-Push it out! Push the rod out!
-Go, Brad! That's good! You're good! Deep color!
Giant, giant fish right here.
Beautiful fish.
Bring it right here, I'll nail him.
Yes.
Gaff. Give me this gaff.
Get the tail rope.
Whoo.
Off to see the wizard!
Whoo, game over!
Brad just wrapped him up.
Whoo, ka-kaw, ka-kaw!
Whoo!
I guess them talons are awfully sharp this year.
They're catching 'em.
Brad came with his A-game this season.
I'm gonna go meet those guys, Duffy.
All right, T.
Look at this guy.
I've never seen anything like this in my life.
Hey, you guys got some meat, man.
Whoo, snuggle up to her!
It's like $7,000 tuna right here.
I'm not just happy for Brad.
I'm stoked.
If he's catching 'em like that and we're sharing the spot and the info,
it's just a matter of time before we have a monster Bluefin onboard, too.
-Hey, I gotta thank you for, uh, putting, putting us, putting us on the meat, bro.
-Yeah, thank you for taking me fishing when I was 18.
I would have never have caught big ones if I didn't go with you, brother.
The best part is the whole fleet's trying to figure out where we're fishing and
they got no clue.
Whoo.
Yeah, buddy.
We got the fish all to ourselves.
-This is how it should be, we're competitive guys, but there's a brotherhood
out here, too.
That's what this feels like. We're lifting each other up.
It's good going, guys.
Really happy you guys are having a great season.
-Not backstabbing, lying, cheating, hiding, stealing.
None of that crooked crap.
That's a big fish, man.
95, God bless you.
We love you, have fun in tuna heaven.
-Fish Hawk and Pinwheel making it happen, whoo!
Whew!
As you could tell, it's not that exciting at the moment.
Waiting for the rod to bend.
We're in third place and that's not where we wanna be.
So, I really need to find out where the fish are.
It's dead here.
Let's see if anyone else is seeing anything.
The (bleep) is he talking about?
Are you (bleep) kidding me?
Just (bleep) range.
Last time out, TJ caught a fish with info I gave him and then Bubby thought it would be
smart to let the whole fleet know where we were fishing.
Good job, Bubby, putting that over the airwaves you (bleep) idiot.
Smart play there, big guy.
