The first 200 lines.

Hello, it's nice to meet you.

Welcome to Sketchbook, everyone.

I'm Yu Hui Yeol.

The year 2017 has begun, and it is January already.

In fact, January used to be off-season...

in the music industry.

But things are different this year.

A lot of singers are releasing new albums...

for many music fans.

By the way,

many people didn't know this band...

when we invited them as guest singers to Sketchbook...

only about four months ago.

"Who on earth are they?"

The audience thought that way.

And it's been four months.

Since the episode aired,

their songs topped the charts.

You can still see their names on many music charts.

This is not a quiz show. You all are trying to guess who they are.

You are even holding your breaths.

They have unique voices...

and witty lyrics.

They are called "girlfriends in your eardrum".

Let me introduce...

Bolbbalgan4.

It's the trending band that everyone can't get enough of.

Please welcome Bolbbalgan4.

Hello, we're Bolbbalgan4. - We're Bolbbalgan4.

Hi, hello.

Can you introduce yourselves individually?

I'm the guitarist and one half of Bolbbalgan4,

Woo Ji Yoon.

I'm the other half and the vocalist...

of Bolbbalgan4, Ahn Ji Young.

There are so many things I want to ask,

but first I need to say this.

This is nothing like four months ago when we had you here.

Did you hear them cheer just now? - I did.

The greatest difference I see in you two...

are the way you carry yourselves on the stage.

Four months ago,

you were glued to your seat. - I know.

But now you're comfortable enough to interact with the audience.

I saw you just now. - Right.

I guess you don't feel as awkward anymore.

At first, it was scary to have...

so many eyes on me at once.

But now they enjoy our songs and all,

so I can't help myself from wanting to be in their vicinity.

She was adorable on an epic scale.

Thanks. - It was great.

It was only four months ago when...

we introduced you on Sketchbook.

Back then,

the audience was clueless to who you were.

Did you see that episode after it aired?

We did. - How was it?

I watched it several times.

Exactly how many?

Including the short video clips,

I can't even begin to count how many times I watched it.

When we introduced ourselves on the show back then,

no one in the audience seemed to know us.

Right. There was a stand-off between you and them.

I remember us being very nervous that day,

but thanks to the... - The editing?

Thanks to that, we came off as very innocent and sweet.

What did people around you say after your appearance on the show?

The mayor of Yeongju-Si contacted us personally.

They're both from Yeongju. - Right.

I remember talking about your home town.

So did the mayor really call?

Yes. - He called us in person.

What did he say?

"Thank you for promoting Yeongju-Si."

"We should have dinner sometime." - "Let's have coffee."

You talked to the mayor himself? - Yes.

Are there banners hung up in Yeongju then...

saying that you're the pride and joy of Yeongju?

No, not yet.

"Bolbbalgan4, the Daughters of Yeongju".

That would be a cool banner.

What else do you want written on it?

"Bolbbalgan4, we're proud of you!"

You're both starting to get flushed.

It's sort of embarrassing to ask, but I'd really like to ask this.

After your appearance on Sketchbook,

"Galaxy"...

which is the song you just sang, started roaming back up the charts.

There were many articles covering the story.

"The number one song prompted by word on social network."

"Sketchbook pulled the trigger."

Do you agree with these statements?

Of course. - We totally agree.

How could we not when it actually happened to us?

Clips of us singing were all over social media the next day...

and our song roamed up the charts 2, 3 steps at a time.

In just a month,

our song reached the top.

Really? That fast?

Anyone could see their song rise in popularity.

There are two groups...

that had their careers take off after appearing on Sketchbook.

One is Bolbbalgan4...

and the other one is Heize.

They both trended afterwards. - Right.

Me and the staff were happy for you.

Thank you.

Were you happy too? - Yes.

We were ecstatic. - It was four months ago...

back in September.

Has the fame effected your everyday life too?

Before, we never once heard our song on the streets.

But now we hear our songs played in stores...

and people even recognize us.

We sometimes get freebies in restaurants as well.

After recognizing you? - Yes.

Do they know your name exactly or are they still confused?

Some have asked if we're musicians.

"Are you Saebbalgan4?"

Of course.

It's not an easy name.

Many call you Bol4 for short.

That's right.

Bol4 as in Bolbbalgan4.

Your parents must be thrilled.

My mom used to say that my voice was nothing but unique.

"You don't have what it takes."

Yes, exactly.

What does she say now? - Now...

"Can I make you anything?"

So... - Do they ask you for anything?

My parents just tell me that...

they want to buy this and that.

They send us links.

Mink fur? - I click and I see purses.

So they send you links of...

shopping websites? - Yes.

Designer purses? - Yes.

They're expensive. - Did you buy it for her?

I bought one for my mom...

and when I make more money,

I'd like to take both my parents shopping.

We had Sweden Laundry on this show, an artist of the same agency.

Hang on. All the artists there seem to have tricky names.

I asked what they envied about you the most...

and they said they were curious about how much money you made.

I'll ask you point blank right now.

Sure. - Have you received what you made?

No, not yet. - Not yet.

Is there an estimate? - Yes.

Really? - There is?

We'll be fairly well off during the first 6 months of 2017.

Is it more than what you initially thought you'd made?

Yes. - I want it to be.

Let's say that you received the money today.

What would you like to do?

I'll make a credit card first.

Don't you have one?

No, not yet.

I'll make one and buy whatever I want.

So just like all the others who pay with credit cards.

Swipe, swipe! - Also,

I want to pay for both of my parents' checkup.

That's so sweet of you.

What would you like to do with your money?

I'd like to buy my parents a few outfits...

and also some for myself.

I could easily tell how popular you've become.

You held a solo concert in the same year you debuted.

Many artists that we have on this show...

say that it's their dream to hold one.

So how was it?

A video clip of me was posted on social media.

It was of me crying my eyes out.

That's how special this concert was to me.

It was our first one...

and our agency put together a little surprise for us.

I cried so much that it's all I can remember,

but it was still amazing.

What did your agency put together for you?

It starts with the video clip of our audition two years ago...

saying how we're cut from the show.

That's how it starts. - Right.

They played that video? - Yes.

For those of you who don't know, they auditioned for "Superstar K".

However, they didn't make the cut.

They played you being cut? - Yes.

It was a surprise event,

so the mikes went out during our song.

You didn't know about it? - No.

The video started playing in the back...

and it was of us being cut from the show.

The clip from "Superstar K"? - Yes.

It's astonishing how those cut from "Superstar K"...

found their fame on "Yu Hui Yeol's Sketchbook".

That's right.

Right.

Life works in mysterious ways. - Exactly.
