I wasn't the person who made this claim, but...
"A society where the majority have Quirks will turn into a society of repression."
Super strength. Super speed. Being able to emit light, heat, and shockwaves...
Et cetera, et cetera. All Quirks that people are born with.
But if they were to use them however they wanted...
The world would fall into chaos.
Quirk use prohibited in this area Except pro heroes
That's why most people don't use their Quirks, and try to live a quiet, normal life.
That's the social contract.
The only exception is for heroes.
With their incredible talents and proven character,
they are allowed to wield their Quirks at will for the good of people and the world.
All kids look up to these heroes...
And seek to become them.
Because it's the only way you can use your Quirk freely under this system.
But in reality, not everyone can become a hero.
And so these Quirks, with no other way to express themselves,
often find themselves exercised outside of the rules.
Used in the name of personal beliefs, even at the risk of defying the social order...
By vigilantes.
Vigilantes. In other words, self-appointed crime fighters.
People who act as heroes, despite not having the license to do so as professionals.
It's a kind of... well, actually a very illegal way of doing things,
but they can find wrongdoing that the heroes are too busy to deal with,
and take care of it.
Acting at least, in some way, like the people they once idolized.
Saying that doing this has made my dream come true is probably an exaggeration.
But if what we do can make people happy, that's enough justification for me.
It's not all fun and games, of course.
But at this point, I've really come to like it.
I'm a vigilante, and my hero name is The Crawler.
And I'm ready to glide along the edge again!
secret identity
the true person behind the mask of anonymity worn by spies, superheroes, etc.
Day-Tripping Down to Naniwa!
Okay, girls, time for practice!
Captain East High
Right!
First comes running!
Right!
Right.
Miu, Yu, make sure to stretch first so you don't hurt yourselves!
Okay!
Huh. Where's Pop?
How come she's at practice today?
She's in Osaka today, remember?
Osaka?
What?
Well... she's taking part in a program to promote local idols, apparently.
Excuse me? Why am I just hearing about this?!
Nozomi 233 will soon be departing on Track 16...
That's not fair! I wanna go on tour, too!
Miu's bound to make a jealous fuss if she finds out,
so try to keep her in the dark.
So much for that!
You two! Focus on what you're doing!
R-Right!
Makoto was too busy to deal with it personally, as usual,
and she said Pop's good at handling her own scheduling and whatnot, so...
So she went to Osaka on her own?
No, she went with her manager.
You mean Koichi?!
Why take him? It's not like he's any help.
If anything, I could picture him being late for the train
because he was buying something to eat!
You sure that's not just how you feel about him?
I missed the train because I was buying a bento box from the station!
Koichi!
Hello? What's up?
Right, like I said...
He missed the train at Tokyo Station.
Right. That should be fine. They're e-tickets, on our phones,
and I've got the schedule and their business cards.
Right. I'll head on to Osaka, and if Koichi doesn't make it in time,
I'll head to the venue on my own.
Shinagawa. Now arriving at Shinagawa.
Right. Right.
It's okay. I think I should be able to manage—
Well, that was pretty rough!
You mean to tell me you caught up with the Shinkansen on your own?!
Of course not.
Back at Tokyo Station, I just kinda...
Falling! Falling! Falling!
Huh?!
You stuck to the train?
Yeah. Kinda like a magnet, or maybe a suction cup?
It's like the force that normally pushes me off the ground had switched to an attraction...
or maybe some kind of adhesion?
Like your Quirk suddenly inverted? Does that even happen?
I think it was more like figuring out a different way to use it.
And I get the feeling I might've been doing it without noticing, before.
Like when I needed extra traction on a curve or if I'm headed upwind,
and risk rolling over...
Can't believe I've got a new technique after all this time!
Welcome! Super Minami Shopping District
Check it out! I did it again! I'm wall crawling!
Yeah, yeah, I get it.
Play around with your new move when we get home.
I don't need you getting in trouble!
Takoyaki
Hold up, there!
You're the punk who was charged for that assault!
I'm takin' you in as soon as I polish off this takoyaki!
Who do you think you're screwin' with?!
Hey, stupid.
You really think that peashooter's gonna work
against Naniwa's tender tank, Fatgum himself?
BMI Hero Fatgum
BMI Hero, Fatgum.
Quirk: Fat Adsorption.
His body can absorb and oppress just about anything.
But you're gonna get just as bad as you've given me.
One, two, three, four, five, six!
I-I only shot you once!
I wasn't talkin' about the gun!
That was a 36-pack of takoyaki I had!
Excuse me!
Your takoyaki is safe.
Well, now I kinda feel bad. I went overboard.
Here, have some takoyaki.
Don't be shy, now. You get six.
I appreciate the help.
You folks here for sightseein'? Where ya headed?
Oh, a place called SS Mall in Super Minami.
That works out perfect! I was about to...
Then again, I think that's supposed ta be a secret.
Forget I said anything!
SS Mall is right down this road.
You kids be careful, now.
Seeya!
He's almost like a cartoon of a big guy, huh?
Yeah.
Mascot Idol Carnival Group Waiting Room
Wow, look at all these weirdos!
Don't say it like that!
Hey there!
Appreciate you two comin' all this way!
You're Pop☆Step from Marukane in Tokyo, right?
H-Hello there.
Nice to meetcha! I'm...
"Snip snip, clip clip...
Grimace
"Heike crab!"
That's what I'm sayin' in the ads! I'm Monika Kaniyashiki!
The official idol of the Kanidoge!
Pleasure to meetcha!
Oh, right.
The pleasure's ours!
Tokyo folks got no sense of humor.
Ya wanna get snipped?! 'Cuz I could nip ya!
Dang. I guess this is what I oughta expect if I take this act on the road.
Um, Miss Kaniyashiki?
Just call me Kaniko.
See, the way I figure, there's gonna be a big wave of mascot idols in the future!
And when that happens...
"Heike Crab!"
Grimace
That's gonna be the catchphrase that'll take me to the top!
Let's both do our best today, Pop.
Oh, you're Willows from Nagoya, right? Glad you could come!
Nice to meetcha! I'm...
"Snip snip, clip clip..."
"Heike crab!"
She sure is full of energy.
Maybe we should come up with a funny catchphrase for you?
I don't think that's how it works.
Equipment Room
Looks like I made it in time!
No Unauthorized Entry
Clobberin' that punk nearly made me late.
Hello, Fatgum. Thanks for having us.
Hey, good to see you.
You're... Tsukauchi from up in Tokyo, right?
