Million Dollar Secret

I made it to the final four.

I'm meant to be here,

and I'm the most ready I've ever been to go all in.

Unfortunately, I do feel like I am on an island by myself,

but I have a huge advantage right now.

I have a clue about the millionaire that nobody knows about.

I'm going to start a solo hunt and find who the millionaire actually is now

and win the million dollars.

Unfortunately, I don't know where I stand with this squad.

Alliances are a real thing in these types of games,

but I'm confident that Kat's the millionaire.

She lied right to our faces and played the whole house.

I gotta prove that Kat has the money,

so then I can focus on figuring out my best way to steal it from her.

I really want that freaking money, dude.

I've rolled through this game trying to make jokes and make friends,

and that was by design,

but now I need to take control of my own game.

I'm very observant, and I forget very little.

My daughter gave me a notebook before I left,

and I have tabs, and I have highlighted everybody's name,

about things about them as we have moved through this process.

Ultimately, I left my job, and I left my family to come do this,

and I have a job to do, and that's to win this money.

This is go time.

Who'd have thunk it?

The underdog sitting in the final four with a million dollars in my box.

I just have to hold on to this money for just a little while longer,

and thankfully, I don't think anybody suspects me at all,

and I don't feel like I have any enemies,

but Kat, she is a force to be reckoned with.

She's willing to lie, cheat, play dirty,

so I have got to stay aware, stay vigilant,

because I want that million dollars to come back to Arkansas with me.

I've been holding on to this clue for what feels like forever.

The millionaire owned a clothing store and loves fashion.

I think that puts a huge target on my head.

But I made up a fake clue.

When wishing for a stroke of luck,

there's winners and losers, but don't forget the ones that fell short.

Daisy knew about it and decided to out me.

The clue was a lie. They made it up.

Daisy sharing that makes me look super suspicious

and put a target on my back,

but I'm the only person that knows what the clue is,

so I'm going to use it to 100% nail down the millionaire,

regain people's trust, and clear my own name.

This feels weird.

- We got four people, dude. - Four people.

What is going on around here?

At this point in the game, we can't get the millionaire wrong again.

I don't think Handsome Nick has it.

He was working too hard at the last elimination dinner

for someone who had it.

-Will you put me some fruit on here? -Yes, ma'am.

There is a chance that money could be in Kaleb's box right now,

but my gut just tells me Kat has that money.

Kat kind of did us dirty with that made-up clue,

all the plotting and chaos.

That, to me, is what the millionaire would do.

Guests.

Oh, hi.

Good morning. I trust that nobody slept.

You're right.

Our millionaire remains cloaked in their lies

as the clock ticks to completion.

Will you catch them? Or are they going to cruise to victory?

Shortly, we will have our penultimate guest activity.

The winners of that activity will not be going into the Trophy Room.

Instead, the winners will choose one guest from the losing team

to go home at our final elimination dinner.

When our final three guests are set, we will play our end game,

and one of you will finally check out of The Stag one million dollars richer.

This activity is gonna be the most important one yet.

I may feel like I'm in a good spot,

but if I lose this, I could be going home empty-handed.

A test of memory, teamwork, and problem-solving.

I call it the death pool because it sounds cool.

Before we get started, we must divide into teams of two.

Remember, these teams are more important than ever.

There is the most on the line that there has ever been with this activity.

Whichever team wins is going to pick one of the losers to send home.

I know I've made moves to make me look suspicious.

I think trust in me is completely gone, so I need to win this activity.

- The boar, Lauren. -Yep.

And Lauren's teammate will be…

…the giraffe, Nick.

Kat and Kaleb are on the other team.

You may have noticed I've decided to retile the pool.

As a way to cut labor costs, you're gonna help.

At the bottom of the pool are two identical but incomplete puzzles.

Each team will have a solver and a setter.

The solvers will collect tiles from their assigned section.

The setters will use those tiles to complete their puzzle.

Here's the rub.

From the many tiles available to each team,

only 16 can successfully complete the puzzle.

The correct tiles have accurate facts written on them.

The rest are decoys.

If any decoys are in your final puzzle,

you will have to root them out and replace them with the correct tiles.

The first team to correctly complete their puzzle wins the game.

Organize into your teams and discuss which of you

will be the clue solver and which will be the tile setter

working underwater.

Here's my thought. I think I'd be really good at that.

Okay.

I feel like you are confident in clue solving.

Mm-hmm.

All right, so you want me to do tiles, and you wanna place them?

I think so, right?

On the back of each tile is a true-or-false statement

that I need to solve.

I realize very quickly my stalker characteristics will come in handy here.

-We can do this. - We've got to.

I know.

"Natalie was an interrogator."

-"Umeko was born in 1999." -

Oh, give me it.

"One of the animal keys is a zebra." We do not have a zebra.

First things first. I'm gonna turn over the ones I know for a fact are wrong.

-Altie was not 55 and divorced. -

I'm 54. I'm married.

The ones I know for a fact are right.

"Hunter plays poker for a living." That is true.

I'm gonna go put on that little table

for Handsome Nick to figure out where they go.

"Tarek was the third person eliminated."

-"Umeko was born in '99." Yes, she was. -

I feel like we're doing super well right now.

"Altie was the tiger."

The puzzle pieces are working. It's all matching up.

"Peter wore an anchor brooch…" I believe so.

I'm just praying that Kaleb is handing me correct tiles,

and I'm trying to move as fast as I can.

Lauren's crushing it. She's super smart.

"Kasey lied during the diving activity."

This was a lie.

-Yes. -

So I'm not fact-checking anything of what Lauren's putting.

I'm taking her word for it that it's a truth.

I'm just putting them down, trying to make this puzzle.

"Hunter was on Team Twisty." That one's true.

Twist.

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. That looks good.

Okay, we have four more pieces.

Go. Go, go, go, go.

Once I got all the tiles that I knew were correct,

I start second-guessing the ones that I am unsure about.

"Salmon was served at the first elimination."

Uh, it was fish.

I'm just going to be fast and just hope like heck that I get it right.
