Tragedy has struck the small town of Frostburg, Maryland,

where a factory under construction

has suffered a devastating collapse.

A FEMA spokesman on the scene refused to comment,

but Channel Eight News has learned that

two construction workers have been killed,

while others may still be buried alive

beneath tons of concrete and steel.

For now, all of Frostburg can only watch

and wait as the rescue effort proceeds,

and emergency officials try to determine

the cause of the collapse.
