2022 represents a new dawn for Formula 1.

It is the biggest overhaul

that Formula 1's technical regulations have ever had.

In terms of car design,

everything from the ground up this year is brand new.

- Interesting, looking at the differences. - It's completely different.

It is crazy how different everyone went.

With these new regulations,

the cars are able to follow each other closer,

and then you get more racing, better action.

It's cool, huh?

The fact that the drivers will be able to compete in a closer way

will create, you know, all this drama.

And I'm pretty sure that most of the drivers will love it

because they are fighters.

Like in the Coliseum of the old days, you know.

because it's a step into the unknown.

The new technical regulations have come hand-in-hand with a cost cap.

All the big teams will have less money to play with.

There's so much potential for the order to be flipped.
