So in this course, we've looked at all the new HTML5 features, which are going to be

particularly useful for Flash developers, but I just want to leave you with some closing

thoughts about how I would like to think about Flash and HTML5, because there's been so much

rhetoric and bickering online about these two technologies.

So first, I don't think anybody should be considering themselves as a Flash developer,

or as an HTML developer, and anything that's specific to a certain technology.

If you're a person who likes to do really cool interactive work for the web and for

devices, what I would like to say is you're an interactive developer.

The actual technologies you choose could be anything.

Now I do think for interactive developers, it's vital that you know both Flash and HTML5;

then you can make the correct choice of which to you use for whatever project you're working on.

So speaking about Flash in particular, Flash will take on a more specialized role in the

future, and we at Adobe are focusing our efforts squarely on gaming and the advanced video use cases.

We see those as the two areas that are particularly well-suited for Flash moving forward, because

now that you can do a lot of this kind of simple interactive content in HTML5, Flash
