When you first came out as Bangtan Sonyeondan, the name is very unique right?

Who named these kids?

Some ppl thought it stood for 'discovered by bang-pd'

So what does it mean?

Actually, bangtan means to 'guard'

so we want to protect them against the prejudice and suppression that rains down on our generation like bullets

and boldly defend our music and values (or something like that...)
