So, coming into Season 2 of "The Brokenwood Mysteries,“
this time around was a little bit different
from the first season because the dynamic, obviously,
when Mike first comes into Brokenwood is quite different.
They are sussing each other out.
It's very much just kind of like
“How do we co-exist?“ type scenario.
But, you know, time's passed and solved a few murders.
They're much more comfortable around each other.
Whoever G.G. is, they didn't skimp on quality.

G.G.'? Anyone spring to mind'?
What was immediately obvious this time around
was the connection between me and Fern
and also Nic, who plays Breen, and, to a degree, Pana, as well.

I meant to ask, uh,
what does quantum physics have to do with gardening?

Quantum physics is the theory
that logically leads to the conclusion
that everything is interrelated
and that what we see with our eyes
is only a shallow outer form of a much deeper reality.
I think Mike trusts Kristin this time 'round
to be left to her own devices
and, like, trusts her with a bit more responsibility
and doesn't just leave her sit in the office
and do all the paperwork.
