On this episode of Wicked Tuna...
We're on!
As the season hits the halfway point...
Something's wrong, Brad.
We're running out of line!
Some teams will pull together...
We are a well-oiled machine.
This is the one we need.
While others...
Look at me. Look at me.
Why don't you understand?
I'm going to the...
Touch to the starboard!
...will fall apart.
I've caught 10 times as many tunas
as you've ever caught in your life.
He's crazy.
You're (bleep) full of (bleep).
This...
Then fine, I got to get another guy to reel 'em in.
Help me help you.
...is Wicked Tuna.
I need you to help me help you.
At the halfway point of the season,
it's a tight race between the top four boats,
Fishing Vessel Tuna Dot Com, Hot Tuna,
Fish Hawk, and Pinwheel.
Meanwhile, Wicked Pissah and Hard Merchandise
lag far behind the pack in earnings.
Come on, Grandpa, move a little faster.
You gotta keep up.
Listen, I can't wait till you little bastards
get to my age and you're in a wheelchair
and I'm still running.
You're not gonna be able to run
because your diaper's gonna be full of poop.
Alright, keep it up.
How many miles are you gonna wheelchair a week?
Yeah.
Keep it up.
Crew chemistry on a boat is super important,
especially at this point in the game.
Halfway through the season, fatigue could start to set in,
stress could set in, especially if you're not catching.
When you guys are my age, I want to see what you look like.
I guess if you're alive then.
Oh, man, that was bad.
Bad.
On our boat, the beauty of it all is,
myself and my crew, we seldom have arguments, you know.
We work well together, we're always on the same page,
and there's definitely something to be said for that.
That is part of the reason we are where we are
most of the time, on top.
If God says you could have one wish,
I'm gonna come back and haunt you guys.
You're gonna come back as a herring.
I'm gonna use you for bait to catch another tuna.
Buffalo hardboiled egg.
Someone has to have one.
Try it.
What the (bleep)? Why you putting it on me?
Someone has to try one.
Ah, no, there's no way I'm gonna try that.
Let me see.
Dude, no.
Right now we're in second place.
We're having fun, we're enjoying each other's company,
we're a family on board.
You know, Michael's my brother,
and Jarrett's pretty much like my brother.
Damn, I'm not eating that.
Alright, I'll try it.
I feel like some boats out there
aren't really as lucky as we are to have the crew that we have
and be able to go out there and have fun
and still make a paycheck.
They smell pretty good, actually.
Being a captain of a boat,
you, you need to know how to treat your crew properly.
If I set the tone in the wrong manner...
They're not bad.
It's gonna be miserable.
I'm not gonna want to be on board.
They're not gonna want to be on board.
It's like vinegary buffalo sauce.
Well, have at it. You got a couple more left.
I'm a firm believer in
'Good vibes on board turns to good results on deck.'
Oh, you'd like it.
I'd like it? Yeah.
Tastes like an Oompa Loompa took a (bleep).
Wow.
Wow, look at that. He's going way up there.
We're marking.
Oh.
Come on, let's get a fish here, guys.
Oh, we're ready for it, Cap.
There's a mark, Bubby.
There's two.
Marking already.
Nice fish right there.
It's coming up to your thing a little.
Yeah, marking right there.
Oh, he's all over them. He's all over one of these.
Oh, that's a big mark, too.
Let's go. Let's do it. Oh, yeah.
Ooh.
Is that him right there? Oh, yeah.
He's on the, he's on the bow rod, too.
He's got it. He's got it. He's got it.
We're on!
We're on! We're on! We're on! We're on!
We're on!
Watch the lines. Watch the lines!
Tell me what you need.
Get off the anchor.
Alright, let it go.
He's off.
We're on!
Huh, isn't that cool?
Up on the bow rod.
Love the bow rod bites.
Those guys are back there doing their thing, clearing the rods,
and we'll stay up here for a little bit
and then we'll go in the back.
Coming through again, same thing off the bottom.
Come on, big boy, let's go!
We're on! We're on!
Move! Reel, reel, reel!
What's it doing, Mike?
Smoking me, man.
Finally got him on.
See how it goes, we're down to the Dacron right now.
Fish took a screaming run outside.
Throw it.
Alright, we're off!
You're off.
Got him on, baby, finally got him on.
Geordie, we need you on the wheel.
Got to move the rod.
Alright, let's go.
Come on.
You ready? Yeah.
Woo!
We're gonna walk it to the back.
I'll run around back.
I actually got it better if I just hold it like this now.
Okay, alright. Ready?
We're going right there.
Don't worry, I got you, buddy.
Okay.
Every guy on the boat knows the job
and how and when to execute it.
And that's why we're so good at it.
There we go. Nicely done.
Woo!
We are a well-oiled machine.
Woo!
Nice work, gents.
You got him, Jarrett.
Holy (bleep).
Sorry, bro, he's going right under this guy's boat.
That's a morning coffee.
What? That freaking cold water in your face?
Jarrett doesn't need coffee this morning,
he just got a nice blast
of North Atlantic freezing-cold seawater.
Looks like a good-sized fish.
He's going down.
Wild fish. Wild, wild fish.
All over the surface, shaking his head.
I'm just happy we got the bite, baby.
The reel is turning and we can't slow him down.
You alright?
What?
I have to go to the bathroom real quick.
Nice and easy, Bubby.
I have seen this before
where a guy has to leave the reel in the middle of a fight
to go, you know, drop a deuce.
He's in the lavatory.
You never know when you're gonna have
an adrenaline bluefin poo-poo explosion.
But Mike and I got this.
Hey, you got to have a crew that has your back
when the crap hits the fan.
You never know when you gotta go.
Good job, Sanchi, you got this.
There you go. Nice.
Wow.
He's pissed.
This fish is a (bleep).
We can do it.
There, yeah, I can see color, right here.
Nice work keeping the heat on him, Sandro. Woo.
