It's a fact that has always made us proud,

but it's also been a burden for us every time we release...

Our debut album was critically acclaimed,

and many people enjoyed that album...

which of course makes us proud.

However, whenever we record a new album,

we're always haunted by the fact that we have to be better.

I'm worried that people will like our debut album more,

so it's a burden for us at the same time.

What are your thoughts as the creative mind of Clazziquai?

I'm actually over it.

I know that I can't make a better album than our first.

It doesn't matter whether it was a hit or not.

I feel like you're ignoring your duties as a musician...

if you keep on making songs that you used to.

If you want, we could always just sing songs from that album.

Your first album? - You mean "Sweety"?

Even though recording new songs are a burden for them,

they still released a new album.

how did the sessions go compared to...

your previous albums?

We were quick.

How quick?

The entire album took us about a month and a half to complete.

You completed a studio album in a month and a half?

Yes, from the songs...

to the lyrics and recording of...

the vocals and the instruments.

Basically, there's no depth to it then.

Now, I want to address this question to you two.

You can say that Clazzi is the core of Clazziquai.

He's the producer... - Yes, our core.

and the director of your albums.

So how is he...

as a director when you're recording your songs?

Doesn't he give you weird orders?

That's what directors who can't sing are normally like.

His directions are abstract.

How are they? - He was weird at first.

What would he say? - "Horan, imagine that..."

"you're a 17-year-old girl..."

"who was born and raised in California."

"You love wearing pink t-shirts."

so it took me a while to grasp his concept.

Horan is here today as a member of Clazziquai,

but recently she released a solo album.

Both albums were released not so far apart.

Yes, my solo album isn't even a month old.

It was released on August 24 while...

ours was released on September 20.

The release dates aren't even a month apart,

so August for me was hectic.

Didn't you feel bad in any way?

I felt burdened...

because many were anticipating Clazziquai's new album,

and I was worried that my solo album would be forgotten.

However, it turns out that...

I actually get to talk about it more often.
