The first 200 lines.

Whoo!

Look at that bird going! Pa-pow! Bam, baby, pa-pow!

It's been the toughest season in Outer Banks history.

We ain't (bleep) got 'em 'till they're on the deck!

Twenty times, ow!

With Southern boats defending their turf.

We don't retreat, we reload.

And Northern boats bringing the heat.

We're gunning for that top spot.

The competition is fierce.

It's a battle royal.

Get some of that Hot Tuna!

The fish are massive.

Damn, that's a big fish.

And now...

Got 'em on!

I really think we just got the bite we've been looking for.

Woo-hoo hoo.

With only two days left.

Whoever catches one today is gonna end up winning this thing.

We got our work cut out for us.

We're gonna fight tooth and nail till the bitter end.

It's a race against the clock...

Throw the darn dart, bud.

Let's go fishing.

To catch...

Oh. Oh.

Before the season closes.

Coming down to the wire, we can definitely take it.

We're gonna fight like hell to get the lead back.

I'm confident that Little Shell is gonna smoke 'em.

This is the season finale...

Oh. That was sick. Brother, look!

Easy, easy! Come on!

This might be the nail in the coffin.

Yeah.

Of Wicked Tuna Outer Banks.

This is a last ditch effort to pull it out.

With two days left in the season,

Southern vessel Little Shell leads the fleet by less than $4,000.

Followed by former champion Fishin' Frenzy, and Northern comeback king, Hot Tuna.

WOMAN (over radio): The general category fishery will close Friday at 11:30 PM,

and remain closed until it automatically reopens, June 1st.

We got 48 hours left, boys.

I'm wore out, man.

I'm super proud of you guys, man.

I swear, couldn't ask for a better crew.

Forty-eight hours left.

I wanted to be on top, and here we are.

You know, good fishing helps a lot.

We've been battling all season with Hot Tuna and Frenzy.

They got another thing coming if they think we're going down without a fight.

Bow's clear.

The next 48 hours, it's gonna be an all-out war for every bluefin.

The job's not over yet. We know we can win this thing.

We're gonna give it everything we have to finish out on top.

Tomorrow, game over.

With Little Shell ahead of us,

we're gonna fight like hell to get the lead back if it kills us.

We're down, but we're not out.

Season ain't over till it's over, so here we are.

It's gonna be a fight to finish.

Okay, let's get out of here.

All right.

Last game of the season, can't hold anything back now.

We're going fishing.

Good Lord willing with just one more.

What we wanted to do,

we wanted to have a better showing and catch some more fish.

Whoo!

We've got two days to do a ton of damage and that's what we're gonna do.

This is it. This is the end of the season. We're running out of time.

I really, really, really bad would like to catch one so we could get in.

We only had 39 metric tons to begin with.

Last year, it was taking seven fish to make a ton this year it's taking four.

As big as these fish are, it doesn't take as many.

Well, there's a lot of boats here doing it now, a lot of boats.

We're the first boat here.

Supposed to gust to 30.

Part of the reason we got out here now, we figure the earlier we get here,

the better off we are, and try to get a bite before it gets too rough.

Season's almost over.

We got a jumpstart on everybody this morning.

We left early, kind of got ahead of the pack.

We're hoping we can get ours and get in there, and finish up on top...

where we belong.

Hopefully, we can find one and pass them on the way in.

I know that's gonna drive Nick nuts.

My old mate, Nick, on the Little Shell, he's leading the fleet.

We're trailing by almost four grand, and the Hot Tuna is less than

500 bucks behind us in the earnings.

Of course, I wanna reclaim my title as the top boat in the fleet.

Who wouldn't?

We have to catch a fish today.

There's one right there.

I marked what looks like our first fish here now.

It's kind of rough.

I just wanna get lucky enough to get our bite right now.

I'm sure it's coming.

So, I'd say we are in a good spot.

Got 'em on, flat line. Oh, look, we got 'em on. Flat line.

I told you we'd get a bite.

He's a real one.

All right, we got a fish on here.

This is bluefin season, baby.

Cold, rough and big fish.

What dreams are made of.

Feels like a good one.

That's a nice flat line bite, we're on!

Dammit.

Looks like it's you, us with Nick, so these next couple days are

gonna be big ones.

Got to make it happen.

Just keep on fishing.

He's holding it down pretty good.

You see that bend in that rod right there, if you can hold it.

It's gonna bounce a lot.

It's usually got a little bit of weight to it.

He's just kind of maybe down there, a couple hundred feet, just enjoying the ride.

This is a good one.

Yeah, it's real, the struggle is real.

We'll make you proud, poppa.

Look at that bend right there.

He's holding it.

Woo, woo.

Wow, choppy.

This is it, this is what we signed up for.

30 knots of wind, three knots of tide, eight foot of sea.

Welcome to the Outer Banks.

Another day in paradise.

Stay tuned.

The good news is, it's rough.

Yee-haw!

The bad news is, Frenzy's hooked up.

My old captain, Greg on the Fishin' Frenzy, him and I have been battling for

the title all season, but I'm confident that Little Shell is gonna smoke 'em.

Woo-hoo, whoa, hang on, boys.

Boat's got more water going over it than it's got going under it.

I bet TJ's thinking, what the hell.

He ain't fished any days like this yet.

I guarantee it.

If someone told me that the Hot Tuna would be in contention for the

lead with 48 hours left, I would have laughed.

Hang on.

So, Little Shell's gonna do whatever it takes to make sure a Northern boat

doesn't take the top spot at the end.

Get you some.

Get you some, Hot Tuna.

I can't believe Frenzy's got 'em on.

TJ, you would never go out in this.

We've never been out in this?

Once in a blue.

The one where Jarrett got rim racked.

Putting the stick out in some nautical conditions right now.

We're gonna take a little bit of beating today, but hopefully the beating pays off

with big tuna on the deck.

Oh.

Anyone who doubted us, anyone who kind of was making fun of us,

calling us pelicans, you know, the joke's on them right now.

Let's go fishing.

I can see the Hot Tuna coming in on top at the end of this season.

I can feel it.

Wow. We're so close.

We just got to catch bigger and better fish than the Little Shell and

the Fishin' Frenzy on these last two days of the season.

Definitely 15-foot seas out here today.

And we've got to catch as much as possible.

We're here, we're giving it hell, and until we can't fish anymore,

we're gonna get after it.

Just got to find that mark.

The Frenzy just hooked up.

One second. Come on, guys.

You're good. Go ahead, Caine, I'm good.

I told 'em yesterday what we were gonna do, setting out,

and they're 15 minutes, trying to get my baits out.

There have been so many huge bluefin caught this season.

With two days left, it's conceivable that we could catch two 500-pounders,

but we need to get a lot more action in our baits.

Will somebody get a bait out!

Something besides one bait.

I mean we've been fifteen minutes, and y'all got one bait out.

I told y'all yesterday what we're gonna be doing, Jack.

I know. I got it. Uh, they're rigged up.

Well, get 'em out! Get 'em in the water! Ugh.

We got a big fish on here.

This is it, this is what it's all about, end of the season.

Choppy, choppy, choppy.

It's rough as hell.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! A big one there.

Uh, come out of nowhere.

That's all the wind doing that, swinging the boat around that quick.

Just got to be really careful with the boat.

Because all this wind and sea, you can blow right over the top of the fish,

and then you got tide to go with it, so I can't really get in position where I wanna be.

I'd like to be downwind of the fish, but then the tide sweeps me right over the top of him.

Hey, it's not easy.

If it was easy, everyone would do it.

I tell you one thing, I guarantee Nick's guts are wringing and twisting.

Everything all right back there?

Best job ever.
