Our bakers need to brace themselves because we're taking things up a level!

Sugar Rush: The Baking Point is back!

The baking competition where speed is the most important ingredient.

Six new teams of bakers are here to try to take home one million pesos

and the golden trophy of this sweet race against time.

Why's it green? It turned green!

It's frozen. Really frozen.

I need to calm down.

The bakers will be under even more pressure.

This season, they will have five hours to face off in two rounds.

-How's it going? -Winning, as always, babes.

In the first round, now they will have to decide

what they'll make,

either cupcakes or confections.

But they won't be able to avoid our delicious, beautiful,

and now more challenging cakes.

And the bottom team... is gone.

They will be eliminated.

Our teams must save and accumulate time,

episode after episode, to compete in the grand finale.

That is, if they make it.

from their cake round.

So, what is this first challenge about, Pastelitos?

Have you ever noticed that

when you're binge-watching your favorite series,

like Sugar Rush: The Baking Point ...

Yeah. Obviously.

...you eat snacks the whole time?

That's the theme.

The bakers have to take their inspiration from the snack

that you eat while watching TV, but make it as a cupcake or a confection.

-Whatever they want. -They choose.

ROUND 1 CUPCAKES OR CONFECTIONS

-Like watching TV... -Yeah.

-With potato chips, but it's a cake. -But a little one.

A milk skin sponge cake.

-Soaked in yuzu because it's fresh. -In yuzu.

CHOCOLATE BUCKET

We'll make an edible bucket.

It can be vegetables, like jicamas, cucumbers, and carrots.

Popcorn.

This is the first time they're baking in this kind of setting.

The communication between Elio and César is almost genetic.

Elio and I have known each other all our lives because we are siblings.

And it all began in our mom's kitchen.

That tempered chocolate turned out great.

We're from a community in the Sierra de Guerrero.

So I think what destiny had in store for us

was to become the bakers we are now.
