The first 157 lines.
Be the next.
We have 19 trainees for each team.
Only nine of them will survive.
(Which trainees will fulfill their dream and debut?)
(The Ranking Evaluation proved how talented the trainees are.)
(They showed off their talents to come in 1st place.)
(They start their first mission in front of 700 people.)
I want to be in the first place.
The winning team from the on-site voting is...
(They reveal the winning team from on-site voting.)
(Who will be the first to be eliminated?)
Be the next.
Who is your idol?
This is how to vote online for UNDER NINETEEN.
Go to the official voting page below.
Please vote for your favorite trainees.
You can vote once per day...
for nine trainees, regardless of which team they're in.
The votes will be open every day...
until the Second Ranking Evaluation,
which will decide who will go home and who will stay.
Vote for your idol now.
UNDER NINETEEN truly starts now.
Your first mission,
which will officially test your skills...
is a position-based Theme Song Competition.
There are three theme songs...
for Team Vocal, Team Rap and Team Performance.
The team that ranks first based on audience votes...
will not have any members eliminated.
For the other two teams,
we will add up the online voting results.
The team ranked 2nd will lose 3 of their lowest-ranked members.
(The 2nd place team will lose 3 members.)
The team ranked third will have the five lowest-ranked members...
eliminated.
(The 3rd place team will lose 5 members.)
They will eliminate eight trainees at once.
It was very shocking.
I thought it was too soon.
I thought I must win this round.
According to the ranking from the Ranking Evaluation,
your part for each theme song will be determined.
That means the trainee in first place...
gets to sing the main part.
Those in the lower ranks do not get to choose their parts,
and it's unfavorable for them to select their positions.
Oh, this is so sad.
What happens to those in the lower rank? They don't get to rap.
Please pay attention to the video...
that will show you your part.
Here's the theme song for Team Performance.
The theme song for Team Performance is made by...
the composer who created "Glass Bead" by Girlfriend...
and "Make It Rain" by Block B Bastarz.
It's "We are Young" composed by Leegi Yongbae.
(The trainees in the lower rank do not have individual parts.)
Only Eddie gets to sing.
I realized how important it is to be in the higher rank.
It was clear that I won't get any individual parts if my rank is low.
I felt bad because I didn't get to have any individual part.
I didn't have my own part.
More than half of the song is Eddie's part.
Everything was...
related to the next mission.
This is only for Eddie.
I'm really excited to be first, and I promise to keep working hard.
Hopefully, I can keep being first for the remainder.
The theme song for Team Vocal is...
created by Ryan Jhun who created songs like "Love Me Right" by Exo,
"Lucifer" by SHINee, and "Pick Me" by Wanna One.
("Go Tomorrow" composed by Ryan Jhun)
He sings the entire verse.
What was it again? Just a second. "So come on".
I thought that something was going terribly wrong.
(The fact that he has many parts makes lower-ranked trainees uneasy.)
He has so many parts.
I get that the person in first place should have the most parts.
I had no idea that I'd have no parts at all.
I didn't get any parts at all.
Isn't this too cruel?
I will do my best to put on the best performance...
and shine on stage.
So we don't have any parts except when we all sing together.
I thought I'd have at least one line.
They gave too many parts to the ones in 1st and 2nd place.
Did everyone in Team Vocals get a part?
No.
Some only get to sing during the "all together" parts.
That's not good. Do you think they'll do that for Team Rap too?
I think they'll give us at least one line each.
You know, things like "Yo".
- Come on, let us have one part. - I hope we get a lot.
You'll be okay at 9th. Another person in 9th got a lot of parts.
- Around three parts. - Yes, they got a lot.
They got more than the guy in 5th place.
Gosh, I'm confident that I can do well...
if they give me a lot of parts.
I think I'll get around half a line.
Even half would be nice.
I'll have to work really hard.
I won't have regrets if I'm eliminated after working hard.
Now we will reveal the theme song for Team Rap.
Team Rap's song was written by a new and upcoming songwriter...
for idol groups named Vendors.
This part is going to be so cute.
When are our parts coming out?
This is scary.
I kept watching to see when I'd get my part.
I wondered if I would get to do a solo.
People even said, "Is this the wrong song?"
I got a lot more parts than I thought,
but this is a team battle.
So I figured that I could play a good role in that, for our team.
The theme song competition by position...
has now been revealed.
I think there are a couple of people...
who are disappointed by their parts. Right?
- Yes. - Yes.
That's why, on Judgment Day...
You can issue a challenge to the person whose part you want.
- Gosh. - Gosh, that's shocking.
Everyone was distributed parts...
based on their ranking.
But they will be given a chance to get assigned a new part...
on Judgment Day.
Trainees can issue challenges...
to the trainee who has the parts they want...
for Judgment Day via voicemail.
Sing and dance at the same time.
They'll be judged by the directors, and if they win...
(The directors will judge them mercilessly.)
They will get the parts they want,
and the parts will be reassigned.
You will be reassigned parts based on the directors' evaluations.
I need to issue a challenge.
That was good news for me.
I need to steal someone else's part...
on Judgment Day.
We'll start the camera rehearsals now.
Staff members?
(Team Performance is preparing for their first rehearsal.)
It's almost like "Show! Music Core".
- Really? - The stage. Yes.
This is what we do too.
We'd like to greet you all. 2, 3.
We are...
- Team Performance! - Team Performance!
They seem off from the very start.
You guys were off-sync.
Did you see the other performances?
We've never see them.
- This is your first time? - Yes.
You have to get in formation quickly.
- All right. - All right.
(The trainees find everything fascinating.)
What is this?
