Previously on The Kardashians...
We're going to Cabo!
This year, I'm trying to do things
that make me really happy,
Get off the hamster wheel a little bit,
and enjoy life.
I'm excited for, like, normalcy.
I wanna be cool with everyone. I don't want any issues with anyone.
No, I want you to dig deep and figure out why you hate me so much.
KOURTNEY (OVER PHONE): You are a narcissist.
It is all about you.
I always know, as soon as I walk through the doors of my house,
I'm like, "All right, give it to me,
what's about to happen?
What was the drama I missed?"
Is Tristan's house done?
No, it's been three weeks,
and he was supposed to be there two.
I am not back together with Tristan.
Hate to break it to everybody.
Never mind then.
KHLOÉ: What do you want, kitty?
Okay, crushed ice.
We are back from Cabo.
It was so fun,
so I just wanted, you know, have some of the fam over
to have a little martini night.
- Nice setup. - KHLOÉ: Thank you.
I like this. What's up, everybody?
I think... I've been... - You're supposed to talk
to the barrel of the camera at this part.
Okay, so, you were talkin' to this one,
- I'll talk to this one, um... - Oh.
- Noice. - I'm doin' all right, you know?
Life just throws a monkey wrench at you sometimes.
KHLOÉ: In case anybody missed the finale of season three,
I wanna bring you guys up to speed as to why Tristan is here.
You were so ready to have your year of, like, being free,
and now, Tristan had to move in with you,
his little brother had to move in with you,
his roof caved in, what are the chances?
My number one slogan I always used:
"You wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans."
Good? (GRUNTS) Everything is meant to be,
just everything happens for a reason.
KHLOÉ: So, Tristan is now fully responsible
for his brother, Amari,
and they are living at my house right now
while that construction is getting handled.
It's always good when you have family with you
to have your back and make everything better,
so it's a process... that's how I look at it.
KHLOÉ: I mean, I definitely feel overwhelmed and,
I guess, stressed at times,
but I'm not the one that's going through
most of the pain here.
Well, hello! Hello.
- Hi! How are you? Hey! Hey, beautiful. How are you?
- KHLOÉ: Hi, Nick. Hi, Nick.
- What's up, bud? How are you? - This is my martini sommelier.
Oh, good 'cause I don't know how to make a martini.
- (ITEMS CLATTER) - Oh! See? He...
He gets nervous around me.
Oh, my God, Khloé.
This is your maiden voyage.
To my first martini.
- First martini. - Oh, my God!
- (GAGS) Mom. - What?
Get it goin'.
- Ooh. - Oh.
No wonder you're drunk all the time.
Yeah.
Hey, guys. What's up?
Oh my. What?
- What? What?
- I didn't know everyone was... - Suit?
- ...getting dressed up. - What?
Well, what kinda party are we at? We're at three different parties.
- We are. You're, like, Sporty Spice. - I'm Sporty, you're,
- you're all business. And you two are... - I'm Lazy Spice. -
I mean, I didn't get the memo. I'm j... I just came from work.
You want somethin' to drink?
Do we have any Jello shots?
- KHLOÉ: What? - What?
- KHLOÉ: Do you know you have to make them? - That's the kind of alcohol
- I like. - Nick, my vodka sommelier is here.
Kim thinks Jello shots are, like...
you can get them when you order them.
- Like, you have to freeze them. No, no. It's gotta be like...
- You do it the night before. - Got it.
I'm definitely still a lightweight.
I'll have, like, two shots and I'll be wasted,
and it's so much fun.
I'll be dancing on the dance floor.
Seriously, I know you guys don't believe me.
Ask Beyoncé.
I danced all night long at her party. (LAUGHS)
I think I blacked out. (LAUGHS)
But... I woke up to so many text messages,
and I was like, "Khloé, look at this.
What did I do? What did I do?"
And she's like, "You were dropping it low and dan..."
And I was like, "No!"
I danced all night long, I had no idea.
- Polo! Tutu!
- Hey, girl. Tutu!
Dreamy.
I'm into it.
- Where's my hugs? - Hey!
'Scuse me, did I get a hug and a hello?
Did I?
Or you're just giving them all to her,
and you're gonna run out by the time you get to me?
Is that how it goes? Uh-huh.
- Oh! - KHLOÉ: You gotta give Bubby a hug.
Give Bubby a hug. - Oh! Thank you, little ladies.
(GRUNTS) Ahh!
Ugh, I know you guys are gonna hate me for this,
and you're gonna hate us,
and you're gonna think Khloé's whatever.
It's so crazy because he's such a good friend
and he's such a good, like, dad,
but he just couldn't get it together in that area
of, like, being a faithful boyfriend, (LAUGHS)
so it's like you wanna, obviously, hate him for that.
Yeah, of course, his actions and who he was,
like, so (BLEEP) up, like, I can't deny that,
and we've had our talks about it, and we've had our fights about it,
and we've had our arguments about it,
but he's also shown so many decent things,
and just has been a really good person and friend.
When he saw me struggling with my kids,
he stepped up, he started showing up to the games,
he picks Saint up, takes him to dinner,
and will always come to my defense,
especially if it's stuff with, like, me and my ex,
and I just, like, never forgot that.
So it's, like, I'll never really throw someone away
and act like I don't feel like they can grow and evolve.
What's going on with Amari?
What happened at the hospital today?
What'd you find out?
Well, he got, uh, discharged today, which is good.
He didn't sleep at all there 'cause, you know, nurses go in and out.
- Yeah. - KHLOÉ: But he, obviously, needs to sleep.
I mean, it's... bad and good,
just, like, that we didn't have any answers really.
Like, his MRIs, and EEGs, and EKGs are all the same.
Amari is Tristan's little brother.
He is 16 years old, he is wheelchair-bound.
Amari has the most severest type of epilepsy.
He has the worst type of seizures you can have,
and he was having so many
before a day that it's caused such severe brain damage,
and that's why he can't walk, or talk, or any of that stuff.
He's in a really, like, scary place,
'cause once he hits age 20 is when
it will be really bad if we can't have any improvements.
Mm-hmm.
- Yeah. Poor baby.
Khloé's compassion
for Tristan and Amari is extraordinary,
and
Amari is teaching us a lot of life lessons.
Yeah. (SNIFFLES)
Because when you meet Amari, he becomes part of your soul,
and you can't understand
how this happened or why this happened,
so hopefully, it teaches my family that,
ya know, life is a beautiful thing.
The fact that my kids, especially Khloé,
have stepped up to this extraordinary challenge
is a beautiful thing.
I'm really proud of Khloé.
Is he gonna maybe go to, like, a physical therapist?
- We're gonna have one come here. - Yeah, we'll find one.
They gave us a couple recommendations,
so we're gonna go Monday or Thursday of next week.
This is, like, a big, huge life change.
Tristan's Amari's sole caregiver,
and I just wanna be here to support Khloé and Tristan
and... in any way that they need me to.
You guys, so this weekend,
I am going to speak at Harvard... Business School.
- What? - KHLOÉ: Stop.
- And I am so excited. - Fire! Congratulations.
- Harvard? That's huge, that's big.
- No, it's, like, such a big deal. - That's amazing.
- I'm really excited. - Make sure you get Harvard gear.
- You're not nervous at all? - Oh, the gift shop, I already have,
- like, everything on hold. Yeah. Okay, good.
- The gift shop? - I'm like, "I-I want merch,
I need Harvard merch."
Harvard merch is on a different level.
Just the fact that a company that I started
is getting studied in a course in Harvard
is just crazy.
- Wow. - And then I'm going to Ohio...
