I just finished my junior year, and it was pretty much nonstop drama.

You know how high school is. Good thing I had friends close by.

That's my best friend Raquel.

Some people call her Rocky.

I couldn't have made it through this year without her.

That's Chase, Laguna's very own rock star.

We've known each other forever, and everyone thought we'd end up together.

That's Kelan, Chase's best friend and bandmate.

Kelan was part jock, part musician and a total hottie.

That's Cameron. He got really hot this year,

and every girl in school noticed, including me.

But he turned into such a player. He was even hooking up with Jessica.

Yes, that Jessica.

And then there were the popular girls.

That's Cami, the queen of mean.

She went out of her way to make my life miserable.

That's Lexie, the ice princess.

It really bugged me how she thought she was better than everyone.

Breanna, LC's little sister, she was so jealous

of my friendship with Rocky.

Whatever.

And that is Kyndra, the leader of the popular clique.

We used to be friends, but she turned her back on me

when I needed her the most.

Kyndra and her friends thought they owned the school.

But this was the year I decided to stand up to them

and start playing the game by my rules.
