To keep it safe, the Power was bound within a vessel.

An ancient sword they called the Sword of Power.

Legend said that when Eternia was in its greatest need,

a hero would step forth and wield the Sword,

and, you know, use it...

awesomely.

Until that day, it was locked away within the castle

under the watchful eye of the Sorceress,

who was wise, and ancient,

and a little scary, to be honest.

For hundreds of years, Grayskull has remained

under the protection of my ancestors.

See, I come from

a pretty impressive lineage of mighty heroes.

Noble, strong, fearless.
